Getting Started

Starting Your Free Trial

Go to flupy.com and click Start Free Trial. You'll be asked for your household name (this is just for you — it's how your household appears when you're managing members later), your name, your email address, and a password of at least 10 characters. You'll also choose your Language & Region, Country, Currency, and Timezone — Flupy suggests sensible defaults based on your country, and every one of these can be changed later in Settings.

Every new household gets a 30-day free trial with every module included and no card required. Click Create My Household to finish and you'll be taken straight into your new Dashboard.

Note: Storage tiers (Starter, Family, Family Plus) only affect how much space you have for photos and documents — every household gets every module from day one, regardless of tier. See Chapter 9 for more on pricing.

Logging In

Go to flupy.com and click Log in in the top-right corner, or go directly to the login page. Enter your email address and password and click Log in.

If you'd rather browse Flupy in a different language before logging in, use the language switcher in the top-right corner of any public page — English, Welsh, Spanish, French, and German are all fully supported.

A Tour of Your Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first thing you see after logging in. A “Needs your attention” banner at the top surfaces only the things that actually need a look today — low stock in Inventory, something due soon in Subscriptions, Maintenance, Vehicles, or Garden — so you're never asked to scan all nineteen modules just to find the handful that matter right now.

Below the banner, every module is grouped into five categories that match how a household actually thinks about its own life:

  • Everyday Life — Todo & Chores, Shopping List, Inventory, Calendar, Meal Planner
  • Memories — Photo Library, Diary, Memories Timeline
  • Money & Records — Budget, Subscriptions & Bills, Warranty & Receipts, Document Vault
  • Home & Away — Maintenance Log, Vehicles, Garden & Plant Care, Packing & Travel Lists
  • Staying Connected — Family Chat, Contacts & Emergency Info, Guest & Vendor Access

Each module has its own card showing a quick summary — how many items are due, what's coming up, how much you've spent this month — with a button straight through to the module itself.

The Sidebar Menu

The same five categories appear in the sidebar on every page, so you're never more than a couple of clicks from anywhere in Flupy. Each category name is a heading you can click to expand or collapse — the category you're currently browsing opens automatically, and the rest stay collapsed so the menu never turns into a long list of nineteen items.

Tip: On a phone or narrow screen, tap the ☰ Menu button at the top of any page to open the sidebar. It works exactly the same way as on a computer.

Signing Out

Click Log out at the bottom of the sidebar at any time. If you've been inactive for a while, Flupy also signs you out automatically — see “Automatic Logout” in the next chapter for how to control how long that takes.

If You Cannot Log In

Click Forgot your password? on the login page and enter your email address. If an account exists for that address, you'll receive a password reset link — for privacy, Flupy shows the same confirmation message whether or not an account actually exists for that email, so it never reveals who has signed up.

Important: Reset links expire after a set number of hours for security. If yours has expired, just request a new one — there's no limit on how many times you can ask.
